Morgaro Gomis Profile Photo

As manager Craig Levein’s first signing for United in January 2007, Morgaro quickly became a first team regular and hardly missed a game over the next four years. As the determined defensive midfielder quickly became a fans favourite at Tannadice, a League Cup runners-up medal in 2008 was soon followed by a Scottish Cup winners medal in 2010. His form at United gained him International recognition, with a call up for Senegal earning him two caps. Leaving to join Birmingham City in May 2011, he returned to Tannadice in 2013 and 2019, making him one of only a handful of players to have played for the club in three separate spells.
